‘The best island in the world’. What would you guess it could be? Hawaii, Bermuda, Santorini, the Azores? All of these would be wrong. Well, that is to the highly acclaimed recent book from The National Geographic entitled, “The 10 Best of Everything”. So, the top ten islands then; sure many hailed from the most distant of lands and the most tropical of climates… however the number one ranking turned out to be none other than our own Massachusetts island of Nantucket.
